Budding Photographer

Over three years ago, Alena Mae snapped what I thought was a great photo while nestled in her sling. That photo has encouraged me to allow the kids to play with the camera for the most part whenever they show any interest. You just never know what they're gonna get. Most of the time it's little more than foreheads and feet, but occasionally they capture something interesting.

Elias snapped a kind of arty one yesterday, featured here for your consideration. That's me enduring a mild windstorm while waiting for my car at the car wash. No make-up, no hair-do; I actually hadn't even showered yet. That's me. Elias loves the photo, and I love that he took it.
