I Play with Letters
When I was a little girl, I played for long periods at a time with a set of plastic letters. They were magnetic and could be arranged on a big white board or the fridge.
I would arrange the letters and rearrange them to make words, phrases, and sentences. I would present these arrangements to my sister or my mom or dad or grandparents.
"I made a word! Read what I wrote! Look!"
They would review it carefully, nod and smile, or give me a suggestion for next time. Then they would boisterously approve and give it all back to me.
And then I would do it all over again.
I have been doing this for years. Now I get paid for it.
Today, my magnetic white board is mostly digital, and my letters are virtual. I rearrange virtual letters on virtual pages and click virtual buttons to send these virtual arrangements to my SMES or my manager or VP or colleagues. They review it carefully. They email me their virtual appreciation. Sometimes they make a correction or give me a suggestion for next time. Then they approve and give it all back to me.
And I do it all over again.
Every day.
I play with letters.
